2010 Mile High Music Festival in Commerce City, CO

The Festival this year just had a feeling of being successful. The recession appropriate ticket price and the new friendlier nearby neighborhood stage configuration are just two of the highlights this year.

The lineup this year was outstanding. The Dave Matthews Band is the perfect fit for the Mile High Music Festival. Add Jack Johnson to the mix with some Train and NAS and it could not be a better place to be.

The fields at Dicks Sporting Goods Park are an ideal area for this kind of an event, and many suspect this will be a long term Commerce City tradition. The only thing missing would be the economic income the city of Commerce City is missing out on. But, hopefully with positive thinking and some luck this will be a thing of the past next year.

The numbers of attendees, are not confirmed, but had to higher then last year's with headliners of Tool and Wide Spread Panic.

The Festival is definitely in a new digital era. Facebook and twitter were both used heavily in the promotion of the 2010 festival. Even Jack Johnson took a picture of the crowd and told them he would twitter it to them later.
