John Denver Tribute Concert Set for Sept. 4

ESTES PARK - Rocky Mountain High comes alive when singer songwriter Brad Fitch takes the stage for the John Denver Tribute Concert on Saturday, Sept. 4 at the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park in Estes Park.

Wearing his signature round wire rims and cowboy hat, Fitch revives the John Denver legacy by performing some of the most beloved songs, including Back Home Again, Sweet Surrender, Thank God I’m a Country Boy, I’m Sorry, Calypso, Fly Away, Take Me Home, Country Roads, Rocky Mountain High, Sunshine on My Shoulders and Annie's Song.
Gates will open at 4 p.m. prior to the Dennis-Tobias Band performing at 5 p.m. A local Estes Park favorite, this band performs a mix of classic rock, Motown, blues, swing and soul with a kick of country from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Brad Fitch and the TropiCowboy Band’s concert begins at 6:30 p.m.

The Estes Park Lions Club sponsors the event, with proceeds going to local scholarships and charities that support the sight and hearing impaired.

Tickets are $20 in advance (www.estesparklionsclub.org) and $25 at gate. For more information, contact the Lions Club at 970-577-1027 or LionsClub@Q.com
