COMMERCE CITY- What better way is there to spend a Saturday afternoon than with the women and girls that mean the most to you, sipping tea and being treated like royalty.
Do you remember dressing up and sitting around the table with your stuffed animals, drinking from dainty teacups with your pinky in the air? Or perhaps you’re still at that age?
Instead of stuffed animals as the guests around your table, invite the women and little girls you cherish to the Thanks-for-Giving Tea, an annual event at the Commerce City Recreation Center. Decorated with beautiful linens and fine china, the Thanks-for-Giving Tea is an event in which you and your special guests will take great pleasure.
Moms, daughters, aunts, grandmothers, sisters and girls of all ages are invited to this traditional afternoon tea. There will be finger foods and various teas to indulge in, as well as a ventriloquist to entertain.
Most important, this is a great opportunity to show these women – from young to old -- how much they mean and how grateful you are to have them in your life.
