Learn about and help plan new On the Wing summer camp

BRIGHTON, Colo. - Enjoy pizza while sharing ideas for a new week-long summer camp at a meeting on January 29 at 11 a.m. at Rocky Mountain Bird Observatory’s Old Stone House, 14500 Lark Bunting Lane, Brighton, Colo. Anyone interested in the camp for youths ages 13-15 is welcome at the meeting.

On the Wing, RMBO’s first week-long camp, will be June 11-16 at Winter Park’s Camp Chief Ouray at Snow Mountain Ranch. The meeting offers an opportunity to discuss and offer feedback on plans and activities for the camp. Plans include having campers create, test and present an outdoors research project and enhance their respect for nature through outdoor recreation such as rafting, hiking, horseback riding and a ropes course.

Information on costs, registration, and scholarship applications will be presented at the meeting. Register for the meeting by Jan. 27 by contacting Cassy Bohnet at cassy.bohnet@rmbo.org or 303-659-4348 ext. 15.
