Annual Summer events offers free food, entertainment
COMMERCE CITY, COLO. – Commerce City will host its second and final Neighborhood Outreach on Thursday, Aug. 11, from 6 – 8:30 p.m. at Pioneer Park.
Residents can enjoy free food and entertainment while learning more about the city and the services provided. Several local organizations and service providers will be on hand to provide information about their programs. City staff and elected officials will also be on hand to answer any questions about city operations.
Staff from the Parks and Recreation Department will also be seeking public input on the city’s draft bicycle and pedestrian master plan at the event. The Urban Renewal Authority also will be sharing information on the organization’s recent purchase of the Mile High Greyhound Park.
