Kick off the Adams County Fair in style! The Adams County 4-H Fashion Show Revue, the first pre-fair event, will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 6:15 p.m., in the Waymire (Dome) Building at the Adams County Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Road, Brighton.The 4-H Fashion Show Revue is an opportunity for 4-H members to model the outfits made as part of their 4-H Clothing, Decorate your Duds, Leathercraft and Heritage Arts projects. The revue places emphasis on total look. It also provides an opportunity for 4-H members to learn and demonstrate the art of fashion coordination, good grooming and posture.
The Fashion Show Revue in Adams County is an all-day event. The morning session, known as Beautiful You Day, is a chance for participants to get comfortable modeling on a stage and prepare for the evening show by getting their hair and make-up ready to go.
The public fashion revue in the evening will give members the opportunity to model in front of an audience. Judges are hired to evaluate the modeling, fit of the garment and use of accessories by the participant. The evening will conclude with the awards presentation, which will recognize the top models as well as numerous special award winners, including most creative, most original and judges choice. The two grand champion senior models will be given the opportunity to represent Adams County at the State 4-H Fashion Revue in Pueblo on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010.
