BRIGHTON MARKET DAY

Market Day was first held in the latter part of the 19th century as part of the Adams County Fair. The original Adams County Fair Grounds (4th Ave. & Southern) was transformed into a marketplace where the community could purchase produce, goods and livestock. The event was organized by Brighton founder Daniel F. Carmichael. Market Day will include produce from our local growers, an education symposium, interactive activities provided by Anythink Library of Brighton, liveentertainment, great food, local artists and free kids activities. Join us on August 14th, 2010 for a celebration of our agricultural heritage.
