Commerce City Cultural Council to host Summer Concert Series

Free Music in the Park concert series runs every Thursday in July

COMMERCE CITY—The Commerce City Cultural Council will host a free summer concert series in July. The Music in the Park concert series will feature bands from around the Denver-metro area. The concerts, held every Thursday in July from 6:30 to 8 p.m., are the perfect chance for families to relax and enjoy the community while listening to live music against the backdrop of the Rockies.

Both concert venues provide ample parking. Guests are encouraged to come early with a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets to find a good spot in the grass.

Concert dates are:

Thursday, July 7, 6:30-8 p.m., River Run Park, 11280 Oakland St., featuring Duke Street Kings
Thursday, July 14, 6:30-8 p.m., River Run Park, featuring Oak Creek
Thursday, July 21, 6:30-8 p.m., River Run Park, featuring Fierce Cornbread
Thursday, July 28, 6:30-8 p.m., Pioneer Park, 5902 Holly St., featuring Amber Waves
