Adult Programs

Rowdy Readers Book Club

Wednesday, Aug. 10, 10 am

This month’s read: Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver. August’s selection can be picked up at the library so that you can read it before the next meeting. Some titles are also available in large print and audio formats.

Brighton Booklovers

Wednesday, Aug. 17, 10 am

This month’s read: Devil in the White City : Murder, Magic, and Madness by Erik Larson. August’s selection can be picked up at the library so that you can read it before the next meeting. Some titles are also available in large print and audio formats.

Tech Classes

Basic Computers 2.0

Tuesday, Aug. 2, 10 am

Delve further into the workings of the computer with further discussion on computer accessories. Learn how to use portable storage, email and selecting a browser. This course will offer a refresher over the basics of the computer, but then look at how to transport and utilize the many different critical parts of a computer. Thursday, Aug. 4, 7 pm & Tuesday, Aug. 16, 10 am

Tweaking and refining a résumé can be one of the hardest things to do. Luckily, there are online resources that help you create a fabulous résumé while saving time. Have an interest in getting an e-reader? Currently have an e-reader, but don’t know all of the perks? Do the different formats of ebooks confuse you? The library is not just a building – there are many resources the library offers that are digital and can be used at home.
